When painting kids faces I have found that the face painting designs that the boys and girls choose are always similar at each venue. So having a portfolio of 10 designs for both boys and girls should be fine. One thing to remember though is that crazes change very quickly with children so I do advise taking on board what is going on around you like kids films that are coming out in the cinemas so you can quickly adapt and have the face painting design of the character that is from the film.
